The Pharmaceutical Control department was established in 2016 and now, there are five full time faculty members who have high experiences in the area of teaching and research. In recent years, the activities of faculty members include: implementation of more than 50 research projects, publication of more than 150 research articles in domestic and foreign journals, supervision of M.Sc., Pharm.D., and Ph.D. theses and dissertations, and participation at both national and international congresses. The department has four general and research-focused labs with appropriate facilities to perform scientific-applied research in the field of quality control of raw materials, pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic preparations. The department provides a coordinated research in the context of microbiology, microbial control of pharmaceutical and food products, physicochemical control of pharmaceutical products and also control of biological products. The staffs and students will gain hands-on experience with the latest techniques and instruments in these labs. The facilities could serve both industry and academic researches.
